In recent days and weeks, we’ve spoken with a lot of people, both clients and friends, who are experiencing something tumultuous. Some people have lots their jobs; some people have friends who were fired; many feel threatened simply because of their identities; and others just feel at a loss to understand dramatic and often incomprehensible shifts.
This week, we did not have time to record a podcast, but we are writing quickly here about our work to increase stability. It can feel nearly impossible to resist when so many absurd and fear-inspiring changes abound. However, it is always possible to do what it takes to make yourself feel better. This can be as small as going for a walk or making some tea. Though at first it feels pointless, futile, or even selfish to focus on one’s self, this is exactly what is necessary to make change. Stability requires collective action and it has to start with you. This is why we created a very simple and accessible program on Enhancing Stability. It will be available on Saint Patrick’s Day this Monday. To learn more about the program, click on the link below.
